Next coffee meet-up: January 24th 2026 at The Social Hub

What is GAAPS?

A Glasgow-based socialising group for people with ADHD to chat, meet for coffee, play board games, go for walks… We arrange regular weekly events, and encourage people to make connections and organise their own activities in our thriving online community (hosted on WhatsApp).

It is entirely FREE! We will never charge for attendance or membership. We depend entirely on donations.

There isn’t much support for people with ADHD, and having it can be isolating and challenging. We are a welcoming and inclusive community where you can chat, make friends, get support, and just relax in the company of people of people who understand what it's like.

You do not have to be officially diagnosed to attend; if you're waiting for a diagnosis or just think you may have ADHD you are just as welcome as anyone else.

Adults of all ages (18 to 800) are welcome, no matter where you live, and GAAPS is for everyone of any race, gender, sexuality, nationality, disability, religion... ADHD doesn't discriminate, and neither do we.

What do we do?

We currently host two fortnightly events on alternate Saturday afternoons:
  • Coffee, chat (and more?)
12:30-2:00pm guaranteed at the venue, after 2:00 we may stay longer or go and do something else! Venues announced here and on social media.
  • Board games meet ups
1:30-4:30 pm in Hillhead Library’s Small Hall.

Dates of the next two are always at the top of the page, and details of each below!

Coffee, chat (and more?)
Pop in and see us anytime. We'll be there for sure between 12:30 and 2:00 so you can drop in whenever, but we will stay longer and maybe go off and do something else after if we feel like it!
  • Venue: The Social Hub café, 15 Candleriggs Square
  • Free to attend (but you may wish to purchase a coffee etc)
Board games meet up
Pop in anytime between 1:30 and 4:30 and play!
  • Venue: Small Hall, Hillhead Library, Byres Road (through the door signposted ‘toilets’ on the right when you enter the library, up the stairs, and the last door on the right).
  • Free to attend.
  • There is unfortunately no disabled access to the Small Hall (we are currently looking for an accessible venue).

We’d be happy to meet you outside either venue if you think you may have trouble finding us, or if you’re just anxious about coming in.

Please read our
guidelines before attending.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch or follow our socials!
